With the Tour Championship and Ryder Cup in the rear-view mirror, golf fans can use the cold winter months anticipating the return of Georgia azaleas and the 2019 Masters.

The Masters golf tournament is the first of four major golf championships that takes place in Augusta, Georgia just across from the South Carolina border.

Jack Nicklaus holds the most victories at Augusta with six wins, while Arnold Palmer and Tiger Woods both have four wins at The Masters. With a win under his belt in 2018, Woods is the 10/1 co-favorite to win the 2019 Masters along with Jordan Spieth.

In 2015, Spieth became the fifth golfer to capture a wire-to-wire victory at the Masters since 1976.

The 2019 Masters is scheduled to begin on Thursday, April 11, 2019 from Augusta National Golf Club.
