If you smoke, you have gotten the munchies. It is just a fact. Why else would you ever eat some of the flavors that Ben & Jerry’s creates? I mean, do we really need to chase our ice cream with cinnamon buns? A new study by French researchers shows that people who smoke marijuana regularly are less likely to be obese than non-pot smokers. Sounds insane? Well, it’s not. I mean look how skinny Snoop Dogg is? Does This Look Like The Face Of A “Lean On Me” Star Who Only Got 30 Days For Trying To Buy 200 Pounds Of Weed?

Jermaine Hopkins, from the movie Lean on Me, just got off the hook easy for his recent pot bust. Hopkins was picked up in a police sting when he tried to buy a whopping 200 elbows of marijuana off an undercover cop. Today Hopkins finally had his day in court, and he was sentenced to 30 days in jail (time he had already served) and three years probation. Needless to say, he left the court room with a big smile on his face, as you can clearly see in this picture. I guess all is well that ends well. I think I’ll roll one up for Hopkins tonight and maybe watch a little Lean on Me to celebrate (more...)

Soulja Boy Busted in Georgia for the Three G’s : Gats, Green & Guap (Guns, Marijuana & Alotta Cash)

Overpaid and over tattooed rapper Soulja Boy was arrested in Temple, Georgia heading west on west on I-20 around 2:30 AM this week. The rapper’s rented Cadillac Escalade after he was pulled over for a traffic violation. Once pulled over, police discovered a gang of marijuana, cash, and guns. The rapper and four others (one of which was the Escalades’s driver) were held in Carrol County Jail while awaiting an appearance before the judge. It is initially estimated that Soulja Boy was in possession of marijuana and cash that exceeded $70,000. Temple Police spokesperson Dana Rampy indicated (more...)

Federal prosecutors sent letters to 16 San Diego pot dispensaries telling them to shut down in 45 days or face federal charges. Does anyone else feel like this is Obama’s lame ass attempt to look tough for the Republicans before the 2012 election? When will he realize that no matter how much he tries to pander to them, they will never vote for him! Surely he has something better to do with your federal prosecutors time than waste it on 16 pot dispensaries in San Diego. Portland Trail Blazers star Marcus Camby was busted with weed after being pulled over for an equipment violation in Pearland Tx. During the pull over police discovered the car reeked of marijuana, prompting the search and seizure of under two ounces of the sticky icky green stuff. Consequently Camby and his boy were charged with “minor possession of marijuana in a drug free zone” and released on the scene. I have to be honest this doesn’t surprise me at all because I have heard crazy pot stories about Camby while he was at UMass.  [TMZ]
