Lance Armstrong May Be Disgraced, But He’s Certainly Not Broke

Lance Armstrong may have lost all his titles and been forced to resign from his charity, but his fortune should withstand the negative wave that has currently consumed his existence. Armstrong is estimated to be worth around $125 million, so even though he may have to pay back the Tour de France roughly $4 million in prize money, he will still be set for life and then some, since most of his fortune came from endorsements from companies like Nike.

Sidenote: Personally, I think stripping some guy’s titles after the  fact is petty, especially when all the other racers were juicing too, just like all other pro athletes are. I also think it’s a little bit lame to punish a guy for doing juice after he had brain and testicular cancer. If he did juice after coming back from an illness like that, than more power to him, he should be commended not punished, but I digress…
