Miami takes a 3-1 series lead and LeBron may finally get his ring Thursday night. Game 4 got off to a rough start for the Heat, trailing by 14pts at the end of the first period – then down by as much as 17pts in the 2nd quarter – before the team finally started to rally. The deficit was cut to 3pts by halftime.
Turnovers and poor shooting from the 3-pt line led to the downfall of the Thunder in the 2nd half. The Thunder were 3 of 16 from 3-pt line, while the Heat were 10 of 26 from beyond the arch.
The one bright spot for the Thunder was Russell Westbrook, who led the team in scoring with a game high 43pts.
The Heat had a nice little surprise from one of their role players, Mario Chalmers, who had a postseason career high with 25pts. He shot 9 of 15 from the field, and had one very big bucket with a minute to go in the game that gave the Heat a five- point lead.
LeBron James, who was suffering from leg cramps late in the game, finished with 26pts, 12 assists, and 9 rebounds, while Dwayne Wade had 25pts and 5 rebounds.
