Shelby Figueroa was pulled over by police in Cedar Creek, Denver, and arrested for being “uncooperative.” Once inside the police SUV, Figueroa managed to get out of her cuffs and into the front seat, where she then proceeded to steal the police car!

Figueroa ended up leading police on a 25-minute chase with speeds exceeding over 100 mph. Police used everything in their arsenal to try to stop the fugitive 18-year-old, including spike strips, but where unable to get her to stop.

Eventually, police were able to ram the SUV and send it end-over-end on the highway. Figueroa, who was injured in the crash, is now facing multiple charges, including attempted vehicular assault on a police officer, vehicular eluding, aggravated motor vehicle theft, resisting arrest, driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, theft, and reckless driving.
