Marijuana Grow House Explodes in Miami

Police were called by neighbors after a house at 6355 SW 151st PL in South West Miami exploded.

When police arrived they found the home’s renters had already fled the scene. Inside the nearly demolished house they found marijuana growing, all kinds of grow chemicals, and also that the tenants were stealing electricity from the electric company.

Neighbors described hearing a loud boom, and it feeling like an earthquake. One woman who was outside at the time said the roof actually lifted off the house before crashing back down! Other neighbors have since reported that the entire neighborhood now smells like weed.  [Miami Herald]
