An unnamed 28-year-old woman was killed when her parasail malfunctioned off Pompano Beach today. The young woman was riding with her husband when her harness broke and she was dropped 150 to 200 feet into the water. Her husband was reeled down safely, but the young woman was found floating face down. The parasail company is called Wave Blast Water Sports, which operates out of the Sands Hotel. [MiamiHerald]
