The man who gunned down several commuters outside The Empire State Building this morning was gunned down by police officers and killed in plain view of the public. Jeffery Johnson, age 53, was fired from his job at Hazan Imports, a woman’s clothing store located across the street from the empire state building. Johnson returned this morning, around 9am, seeking revenge. He shot and killed a former co-worker with a .45-caliber handgun. According to police, Johnson fled the scene with the weapon concealed in a black bag. A nearby eyewitness notified police, who approached Johnson. Johnson responded by opening fire and the officers fired back, killing Johnson, and injuring 9 bystanders in the crossfire!
