Nat Geo Builds A Real “Up” House

Nat Geo just put a team of engineers, scientists, and a couple of bad ass balloon pilots together to build the real version of Pixar’s “Up” house. The house set a world record for largest balloon cluster flight ever with over 300 multi-color weather balloons carrying it upwards in to the morning sky. The balloon powered home reached an altitude of over 10,000 feet and flew for over an hour before landing safely at an airfield outside LA. The whole experiment was filmed for a spot on Nat Geo’s new TV series fittingly named “How Hard Can It Be.” [MyModernMet]
