About

What is the South Florida Chronicle?

We’re your source for witty, pithy (that means “short and to the point”), and edgy information about news, sports, health, entertainment, tech, science, marine, humor and general interest subjects – like Wikipedia, without the nerds. We “promote the South Florida lifestyle.” That means living the dream, starting with the beach (hey, it’s our first name), the great outdoors (been to the Everglades lately?; it’s literally our backyard), great nightlife, amazing weather, world-class golf courses, five-star dining, casino gaming, some of the best (and most beautiful) people on the planet – what’s not to like?

We partner with our readers, our contributors, and our advertisers.

When you partner with us, you become part of our virtual neighborhood. Not only do we promote you within our Full-Color pages (pages with actual content, by the way, not just movie times and, ahem, hooker ads), it’s like you’re buying (or long-term leasing) real estate along our pages. That makes us neighbors, and we want our neighbors to succeed, and succeed big.

Our goal is to increase your bottom line by maximizing your exposure.

That’s maximum exposure at a minimum price. We have over 100,000 readers in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. They get their edition of the South Florida Chronicle at 1,500 distribution points from Aventura to Delray Beach, including the South Florida Publix locations (pick one up “where shopping is a pleasure” – they even have their own clearly labeled racks).

The publication is 10.5 inches wide, by 13.5 inches tall.

That’s big. That means your presence inside will be big, too. That, added to circulation, distribution points, and our large print volume equals success. The results speak for themselves.

True story:

Someone recently said, “When I read this, it’s like I’m paging through The Economist, then reading something I might find in Vanity Fair, and then Entertainment Weekly, Wired, then Sports Illustrated.” Wow. Thanks. Reader Profile BeachFront News readers are great people. The kind you would want to have over to your house – or your business. The paper is hip, edgy and clean. No ads for escorts or pain clinics (your mother could be reading it!). Because of this, the publication is welcome where the competition isn’t. That means our advertising partners reach a better clientele, and more of them.

Our readers are informed, educated and have disposable income. Meet them:

  • Average age: 25 to 54
  • Median income: $75,000 to $80,000
  • Males 55%, Females 45%
  • Distributed free in the Fort Lauderdale high rise condos, we have a strong presence in South Florida’s affluent retiree community, age 54+
